In Monday's non-league outing, the Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) basketball squad beat the visiting Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH), by a margin of 56-42.
The Scotties (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against River View (Warsaw, OH). The Black Bears go into the Muskingum Valley outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, River View was topped by New Lexington (New Lexington, OH), 58-23, in a non-league outing.
