Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA), saw Albemarle's basketball squad overcome Eastern View by a tally of 72-59.

With the victory, Albemarle improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Fleming (Roanoke, VA) to play the Colonels in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Cyclones play the Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Eastern View will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
