Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Independence Tigers (Independence, LA), 62-10 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Archbishop Hannan upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Hawks host Hammond (Hammond, LA) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Hammond won 66-38 in their recent non-league bout against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 78-40 non-league loss to Hammond (Hammond, LA).
