Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Brennan Bears (San Antonio, TX), 61-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westlake upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Chaparrals travel to Medina Valley (Castroville, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Medina Valley lost 75-50 in their recent non-league bout against Highlands (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Bears clash with the McCallum Knights (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Brennan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 47-40 non-league loss to Austin (Austin, TX).
