The Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) basketball nipped the host Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX), 71-66 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Irving (Irving, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Irving was tipped by Sam Houston (Arlington, TX), 82-45, in a non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Caddo Mills for a non-league test on Thursday, December 1. Denison will encounter a Foxes squad coming off a 75-58 non-league loss to Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Foxes record now stands at 1-3.
