San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Design Tech Dragons (Redwood City, CA), 53-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, San Mateo upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Balboa (San Francisco, CA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Balboa won 49-45 in their recent non-league bout against Kennedy (Richmond, CA)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Design Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 64-55 non-league win over Lynbrook (San Jose, CA).
