The Elcho Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Tigerton Tigers to 28 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Florence for a Northern Lakes contest on Friday, December 2. Elcho will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 54-21 non-league win over Wausaukee (Wausaukee, WI). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-0.
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-County (Plainfield, WI). The Penguins come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Tri-County was routed by Marion (Marion, WI), 67-47, in a non-league contest.
