The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Firestone Falcons to 45 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nordonia for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Highland will battle a Knights team coming off a 70-51 non-league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Tallmadge prevailed over Ellet (Akron, OH), 56-43, in a non-league contest.
