California High School Basketball - Silver Valley nips Kern Valley

Silver Valley Trojans (Yermo, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA), 50-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Silver Valley upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA) to encounter the Silver Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, December 1. The Silver Knights go into the test with a record of 4-0. Riverside Prep won 49-48 in their recent non-league test against Desert (Edwards AFB, CA)

The Broncs now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Desert for a non-league test on Thursday, December 1. Kern Valley will encounter a Scorpions squad coming off a 49-48 non-league loss to Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Scorpions record now stands at 3-3.
