The New Iberia Yellowjackets basketball team scored 2 points and held the visiting Patterson Lumberjacks to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. New Iberia will battle a Vikings team coming off a 71-68 non-league loss to Fairview (Grant, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
The Lumberjacks (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Tarpons enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, South Lafourche was nudged by Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA), 55-52, in a non-league contest.
