The Van Vandals basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting North Lamar Panthers to 50 in the Vandals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vandals now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wills Point for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Van will meet a Tigers team coming off a 58-26 non-league win over Troup (Troup, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kemp (Kemp, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Kemp was outscored by Skyline (Dallas, TX), 78-42, in a non-league contest.
