With the win, Wellston upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Golden Rockets host Miller (Corning, OH) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Oaks play the Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Friday, December 2. Oak Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 61-46 non-league win over Piketon (Piketon, OH).
