River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH), 53-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, River Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host South Gallia (Crown City, OH) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 1-2. South Gallia lost 58-22 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH)

Next up, the Vikings play the St. Joseph Central Flyers (Ironton, OH) in a Southern Ohio I bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Symmes Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
