Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tuslaw Mustangs (Massillon, OH), 62-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waynedale upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Golden Bears host Norwayne (Creston, OH) to clash with the Bobcats in a Wayne County bout on Friday, December 2. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Norwayne won 75-29 in their recent non-league bout against Orrville (Orrville, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Triway Titans (Wooster, OH) in a Principals bout, on Friday, December 2. Tuslaw will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 67-54 non-league loss to Aquinas (Louisville, OH).
