In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Garden Grove Argonauts basketball squad scored a close 64-60 victory over the Torrance Tartars.
With the victory, Garden Grove improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Argonauts travel to Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA) to confront the Seahawks in a challenge on Friday, January 6. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-1.
Next up, the Tartars confront the La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 1. Torrance will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
