Michigan High School Basketball - Lapeer can't hold off Adams

The Adams Highlanders basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Lapeer Lightning to 37 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Adams will battle a Eagles team coming off a 38-23 non-league loss to Northville (Northville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
The Lightning (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Oxford was nudged by Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI), 50-41, in a non-league contest.
