Whitehall Vikings (Whitehall, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cadillac Vikings (Cadillac, MI), 41-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Whitehall upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings host Grant (Grant, MI) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Grant lost 62-49 in their recent league challenge against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI)

Next up, the Vikings play the St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Cadillac will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 48-38 non-league win over St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI).
