Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA), 43-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kuemper upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Grand View Christian won 52-50 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Des Moines, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, December 2. Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 51-33 non-league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA).
