The Centennial Cougars (Franklin, TN) basketball felled the visiting Siegel Stars (Murfreesboro, TN), 37-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Smyrna (Smyrna, TN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Smyrna thwarted Hunters Lane (Nashville, TN), 60-18, in a non-league test.
The Stars now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Shelbyville Central for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Siegel will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 57-35 non-league loss to Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
