Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), 71-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lumpkin County upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to play the Wolves in a AAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the War Eagles play the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Chestatee will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 61-51 non-league loss to St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA).
