The Fairfield Mules basketball team (Fairfield, IL), dropped 37-28 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL)
The Hornets now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Nashville will battle a Comets team coming off a 61-36 league win over Gillespie (Gillespie, IL). The Comets record now stands at 3-3.
The Mules (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Edwards County (Albion, IL). The Lions come into the Black Diamond - East battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Edwards County prevailed over Wayne City (Wayne City, IL), 46-26, in a non-league battle.
