LaGrange Gators (Lake Charles, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA), 49-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, LaGrange upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Gators host Sulphur (Sulphur, LA) to play the Golden Tors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Golden Tors go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Sulphur lost 45-35 in their recent non-league bout against St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA)

Next up, the Hornets play the South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Grand Lake will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Tarpons enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 62-16 league loss to Singer (Singer, LA).
