Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Winters Blizzards (Winters, TX), 34-19 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hawley upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Eula (Clyde, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Blizzards play the Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Winters will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 48-38 non-league win over Eula (Clyde, TX).
