The Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), 60-51 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Lumberjacks go into the AAA Section 7 test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Cloquet notched a victory over Esko (Esko, MN), 55-52, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to South St. Paul for a non-league test on Thursday, December 1.
