Huckabay Indians (Stephenville, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Poolville Monarchs (Poolville, TX), 43-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Huckabay upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Indians host Strawn (Strawn, TX) to play the Greyhounds in a 1A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Monarchs play the Jacksboro Tigers (Jacksboro, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Poolville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 58-17 non-league win over Dublin (Dublin, TX).
