The Northville Mustangs basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Lakeland Eagles to 23 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grosse Ile for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Adams (Rochester, MI). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Adams ran past Lapeer (Lapeer, MI), 41-37, in a non-league contest.
