Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Milan Big Reds (Milan, MI), 58-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Railsplitters host Pinckney (Pinckney, MI) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Pinckney won 46-40 in their recent non-league bout against Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI)

Next up, the Big Reds play the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Milan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Northmen come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 48-40 non-league loss to Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI).
