Paideia Pythons (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Mays Raiders (Atlanta, GA), 42-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Paideia upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Pythons host St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA) to play the Knights in a A D1 Region 6A bout on Friday, December 2. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 3-3. St. Francis won 62-59 in their recent non-league bout against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Mays will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
