    The Menlo-Atherton Bears basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Wilcox Chargers to 28 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Bears now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Righetti for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Menlo-Atherton will battle a Warriors team coming off a 56-41 non-league loss to Oxnard (Oxnard, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.

    The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Leland (San Jose, CA). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Leland triumphed over Mountain View (Mountain View, CA), 42-40, in a non-league contest.
