The Saline Hornets basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Stevenson Spartans to 14 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Novi for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Saline will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 41-35 non-league win over Groves (Beverly Hills, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Divine Child triumphed over Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI), 65-24, in a non-league contest.
