In Tuesday's non-league outing, the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL), by a margin of 55-54.
The Fighting Saints (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Lancers go into the DuKane outing with a 4-1 record. In their last outing, Lake Park got by Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL), 60-45, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Naperville Central for a DuPage Valley outing on Thursday, December 1. Waubonsie Valley will clash with a Redhawks squad coming off a 56-55 non-league win over Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 2-3.
