North Carolina High School Basketball - Broughton nips Apex

November 29, 2022: Apex, NC 27502

Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 31-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Broughton upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Capitals host Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars play the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Apex will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 39-35 non-league win over Panther Creek (Cary, NC).
