The Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) basketball felled the visiting Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN), 38-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Adams Central (Monroe, IN). The Flying Jets go into the test with a 4-2 record.
The Knights now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Centerville for a test on Friday, December 2. Northeastern will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 40-12 non-league loss to Connersville (Connersville, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
