The Laney Buccaneers basketball team scored 32 points and held the visiting White Oak Vikings to 19 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pender for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2.

The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, East Duplin ran past Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 26-18, in a non-league contest.
