Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), saw Mesquite's basketball squad hold off Basha by a count of 57-51.

With the victory, Mesquite upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bears play the Chandler Wolves (Chandler, AZ) in a challenge, on Thursday, December 1. Basha will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 43-39 non-league win over Cibola (Yuma, AZ).
