The Selma Bears (Selma, CA) basketball nipped the host Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA), 32-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Mt. Whitney was tipped by Tulare Union (Tulare, CA), 57-50, in a non-league test.
The Tribe now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Yosemite for a test on Tuesday, December 6. Chowchilla will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 28-25 non-league loss to Mariposa County (Mariposa, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 1-1.
