The Wood Wildcats basketball team (Vacaville, CA), was nudged 51-50 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA)
The Lancers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Florin for a battle on Monday, January 9.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tokay (Lodi, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Tokay edged Escalon (Escalon, CA), 55-43, in a non-league battle.
