The Live Oak Acorns basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Oakwood Hawks to 59 in the Acorns non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Acorns now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilroy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 30. Live Oak will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 71-66 non-league loss to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.

The Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
