Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Appalachian Christian Trailblazers (Afton, VA), 68-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Tandem Friends upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a Greater Piedmont bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Trailblazers play the Ridgeview Christian Crusaders (Stuarts Draft, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Appalachian Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 67-45 non-league loss to Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA).
