The South Mountain Jaguars basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 79-51 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ)

The Scorpions now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Agua Fria for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 30. Desert Edge will confront a Owls team coming off a 61-54 non-league loss to Yuma (Yuma, AZ). The Owls record now stands at 0-4.

The Jaguars (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, North was overwhelmed by Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ), 66-58, in a non-league battle.
