The Eastside Blazers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Smith Academy Fighting 54th to 24 in the Blazers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Blazers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Wayne Canterbury for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5.

The Fighting 54th (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Whitko (South Whitley, IN). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Whitko was routed by Bellmont (Decatur, IN), 52-47, in a non-league contest.
