Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) and the visiting Estacada Rangers (Estacada, OR), saw St. Helens's basketball squad hold off Estacada by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, St. Helens improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Pendleton (Pendleton, OR) to confront the Buckaroos in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Buckaroos come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Pendleton lost 50-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Gladstone (Gladstone, OR)
Next up, the Rangers confront the Elmira Falcons (Elmira, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Estacada will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
