Kofa Kings (Yuma, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lake Havasu Knights (Lake Havasu City, AZ), 65-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kofa upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Kings host Washington (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Rams in a 5A Central Valley bout on Friday, December 1. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Washington lost 77-48 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) in a 5A Desert West game, on Monday, December 4. Lake Havasu will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 65-62 non-league win over Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ).
