In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Mount Vernon Patriots (Murray, UT) basketball squad edged the host Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT), by a count of 58-51.

The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record.

The Lions now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Freedom Prep Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. Maeser Prep Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 63-56 non-league loss to Draper APA (Draper, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
