Georgia High School Basketball - Rutland topples Pike County

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Rutland Hurricanes (Macon, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), by a count of 51-40.

The Hurricanes (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record.

The Pirates now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Academy for Classical Education for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. Pike County will clash with a Gryphons squad coming off a 68-43 non-league win over Covenant Academy (Macon, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-0.
