Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Triumph Charter Jaguars (Sylmar, CA), 58-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Vipers travel to Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Central City Value lost 63-29 in their recent non-league bout against Triumph Charter (Sylmar, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins (Sun Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Triumph Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Griffins come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 46-38 non-league win over Smidt Tech (Los Angeles, CA).
