Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) and the host Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), saw Cherokee Trail's basketball squad knock off Legacy by a count of 54-39.

With the victory, Cherokee Trail upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Monarch (Louisville, CO) to play the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Lightning play the Highlands Ranch Falcons (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Legacy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
