Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA), 50-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Signal Mountain upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Eagles host Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN) to play the Trojans in a 3A District 6 bout on Friday, December 1. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Soddy Daisy lost 50-47 in their recent non-league bout against Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN)

Next up, the Colts play the Bremen Blue Devils (Bremen, GA) in a AAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, December 1. Coahulla Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 53-34 non-league win over Armuchee (Rome, GA).
