California High School Basketball - Hoover nipped by Mendota

November 29, 2023: Mendota, CA 93640

The Mendota Aztecs tipped the visiting Hoover Patriots basketball team by a final score of 30-27 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Aztecs face the Selma Bears (Selma, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, November 30. Mendota will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Madera South (Madera, CA).

With the defeat, Hoover moves to 1-2 on the year. The Patriots host Clovis North (Fresno, CA) to face the Broncos in a non-league game on Thursday, December 7. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 0-1.
