North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant ripped by Northwest Cabarrus

November 29, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Mount Pleasant Tigers to 22 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Rowan for a 3A South Piedmont contest on Friday, December 1. Northwest Cabarrus will play a Raiders squad coming off a 64-31 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

Next up, the Tigers play the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Mount Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Spiders come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 47-27 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC).
